Meet Kikki

9 year old Kikki deserves love, commitment, and stability at this point in her life. This beautiful girl came to us from our friends at Colville Valley Animal Sanctuary in Colville Washington. We reached out when we saw on social media that they were closed to new intakes due to their sheer numbers. They sent us seven kittens and dear Kikki.

We were not given much information about Kikki other than that she has had at least two homes and was bullied by another cat in the last one.. Due to the bullying, Kikki will need to be the only pet in her next (and hopefully final) home. Due to being declawed, she will need to be strictly indoor only. We are learning more about Kikki since she has been in foster care with us. One fact that we need to be upfront about is that Kikki does not always use the litter box. We don't know if this is because she has been in a foster home with other cats (although she was separated) or because her foster home has a small child. We are hopeful that with a quiet, adult only home with no other pets, that Kikki will use her litter box 100% of the time, but there are no guarantees.

Kikki has been found to be a lap cat and would be ideal for an older person and a quiet home. She is friendly, affectionate, and very easy to care for. We have been unable to get her to eat any canned food although we continue to try. She has been on a couple of dry foods for older cats with digestive issues. Kikki will need an open litter box with soft litter due to being declawed. She does not bury in her litter box, but scratches at the floor surrounding it. This may be easier on her feet. This is why she will need an open litter box too.

Kikki has had blood work and a urinalysis done which shows that she is in excellent health. Our wonderful vet clinic, Urban Animal, just cleaned Kikki's teeth too.
Kikki has been spayed, combo tested, is current on vaccines, and microchipped.

Please let us know if you think you and Kikki would be a great fit and we will arrange for an in person visit. You can reach us at info@fafseattle.org or (206) 719-4864.

Her adoption fee will be waived for a wonderful home.
