My name is Katie. My mom died in a car wreck and I am so sad. I miss her. My foster is so very sweet but I am ready for my forever home. I need to be the only kitty with you. I love humans but not so much other kitties. I'm super sweet and love laying on laps. Would you like to meet me?

Katie is a 12-year-old female in search of a loving home. She unfortunately lost both her humans this year. She has had a hard time but she's doing great now thanks to her foster. She is a human shadow and wants to be where her people are. If you work from home or are retired, she would be a perfect companion! She is a lap cat for sure; however, she is not fond of being picked-up. She loves sleeping in bed and taking naps with her humans. She is very sweet and affectionate, but she can be a little “spicy” and will let you know if she is not agreeable with something. She would not do well in a home with young children. Family members tried to keep her, but she had a hard time adjusting to a chaotic new environment with kids, and she did not get along with the other cat in the household. Katie would do best in a home where she is the only cat. She has been around small dogs and they did not seem to bother her. She recently had a vet check-up and they indicated she is healthy and up to date with all her shots. This sweet girl really needs a home and someone to love.
