Meet Kacy
Kacy was adopted out as a kitten almost 3 years ago through our organization. In November, she was found outside, malnourished, dirty, and presumed to be feral. We tried contacting the woman who adopted her from us, but she didn't want Kacy anymore and that's why she was left outside to fend for herself.
After being in foster care for a few months where she had been shown love and stability, she's blossomed into one of the most affectionate cats you'll ever meet. She cuddled up to her foster family, loudly meowing as she asked for head scratches and licked our hands to show appreciation for giving her a second chance. She loves watching the birds outside in a warm, sunshine-filled window. Kacy is very treat-motivated, loves a good scratching post, and makes the best biscuits.
She doesn't dislike other cats, but she doesn't actively seek them out, either. We think she would be fine in a house with an older cat or someone more relaxed. She was not afraid of the 45-lb dog she lived with in foster care, but they had only seen each other through a baby gate.
