Meet Junebug and Tiny Bones
Hi, our names are Junebug and Tiny Bones! Here is what would work best for us in our new home:
-Personality: Sensitive, shy, affectionate once comfortable
-Can Live with Cats: Yes!We are a bonded pair and it is required we be adopted together. Introductions to any resident kitties will need to be slow and structured.
-Can Live with Dogs: No thanks, too overwhelming!
-Can Live with Kids: No, I will need an adult-only home
-Requires Indoor Only: Highly recommended but may be okay as an indoor/outdoor
-Bite History: Tiny Bones does have a bite history - ask staff for more details
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: No
-Additional Information:
Junebug and Tiny Bones arrived as very frightened stray kittens. They spent some time in a foster home socializing and have come such a long way, but are still on the timid side. These two will need a nice QUIET home with lots of hidey spots they can escape to. Junebug is the braver of the two will seek out affection when he wants it. He'll even roll over and let you pet his belly! We are recommending whoever adopts these cuties has prior cat experience and is willing to work with them on their timidity.
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.whatcomhumane.org/adopt) or in person at our facility. We recommend calling into the shelter after your application has been submitted so our front desk can give you next steps on our adoption process.
