BROKEN-HEARTED JULIETTE DESPERATELY SEEKS ROMEO... actually, seeks anyone willing to provide a loving home, but now that you're reading about her....
Juliette is a loving, trusting cat who was left behind by her family. That was a couple of years ago, and a neighbour had been feeding her all this time. Her caretaker said she came on the bed, so she had been allowed to come inside.
Eventually the neighbour didn't want to deal with her anymore so Juliette was taken to a shelter. Her original family had been traced but didn't want her back. She was transferred to Katie's Place
when she was released into a communal room, it seemed as though she'd rather live among people than among cats. Still, Juliette is not a trouble-maker. Her face is often somber. She must wonder why her family abandoned her and she found herself in shelter after shelter. Often, there aren't enough loving moments to go around, and being a healthy medium-haired black cat, Juiliette is not much of a squeaky wheel.
Juliette has settled better among her roommates, and she'll greet a visitor with enthusiasm if she can get them on their own without being crowded by the other cats. She is a gentle, affectionate little girl who deserves a caring forever home. She is such a nice little cat and so pretty with her fine, soft fur and smokey highlights - a real treasure for a new family. A number of volunteers have commented recently on how exceptionally affectionate and loving Juliette has been.
When you come to visit the shelter, please be sure to drop in on Juliette - maybe you'll be able to give her the happily ever after she longs for.
Juliette was born around March 2005.
