Meet Joey

This chill guy is Joey! He came to us from local animal control and is now ready to find a loving forever home to cherish him! He is around 5 years old and is a big guy, weighing 15 pounds. He enjoys gentle pets and watching his surroundings. He is also quite chatty! We are currently working on introducing him to other cats and will update his bio as we learn more.

Joey is FIV+. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus is spread through deep-muscular bite wounds or sometimes in utero. Cat friendly cats with FIV can live with other cats who are negative for FIV as long as both are friendly. It is crucial that FIV cats remain indoors only and are kept up to date on vaccines. Most FIV+ cats can live normal lives.
