Jessica Day's fur is so silky!!! She is very coquettish and rubs against things with back raised and biscuit-making on her way over for pets. She is fairly quick to back down to a bully cat and is very comfortable with friendly cats. She’s truly friendly with the older resident and younger foster pups. JD loves playing with wand toys, was the first to discover and claim the bed, and acts like laid back royalty:)

JD says: I grew up in an outdoor colony that my caretaker TNRed (trapped, neutered/spayed, returned) with FAN’s help. When she moved away last spring, FAN took over feedings and quickly noticed that some of us were friendly and likely to enjoy inside living. I’m so glad I was one of them!

I’m currently a foster-to-adopt status because it takes me a little bit to trust new people. But don’t be fooled, I love my people! I enjoy my foster mom’s pets, talking to her, and playing!!! She has some very friendly and playful cats that I enjoy thoroughly. Often I eat with them, but I also like to eat on my enclosed deck. I do sometimes try to run out because I miss tree scratching and leaping and bounding. The few times I’ve gotten out, I’ve walked with my foster mom and her dogs and then come back home. I love when my foster mom plays with me with wand toys and anything that flies through the air.

With foster-to-adopt, FAN gives you and me some time to settle in so that I can dazzle you with all my glory before you fully commit to adopting me. Trust me - you won’t be sorry. I would prefer to live with other cats, especially those that are playful, and/or adopt me with my family member, Reagan!

2. MEET-N-GREET: We'll set up a time for you to get to know each other, whether at their foster home and/or Norfolk's Catnip Cat Cafe
3. CONTRACT: If we both determine you & your kitten(s) or cat (s) are a good match, then the adoption proceeds. Contract is completed, signed, fee is paid, and your new furry friend(s) can go home with you!
