Jerry was trapped as part of a TNR project in a local colony. He was returned after neuter and turned up a few weeks later with a significant injury to his rear paw. While healing after his toe amputation, it was learned that Jerry was actually quite friendly. He is now quite happily living in his foster home and ready to start his search for his forever family.

Jerry is playful and affectionate. He will walk back and forth past you 100 times wanting you to pet him with each pass. His absolute favorite toy is his cat wand. He will play with it as long as you have time to play with him. He came from an all-adult colony of cats and because of that is most comfortable around those larger and older than him. He would love a feline friend to become friends with as he spent most of his time under the deck away from the others, because they would bully him when he lived outside. Ideally, a friend that loves to play as much as he does. He would also be ok as your one and only if you love to play with cat wands as much as he does. Jerry does occasionally enjoy giving gentle love bites, just to let you know how much he appreciates not having to live outside anymore.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are:
Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125
Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100
Seniors (8+ years) = $80

If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.
