Meet Jelly Bean

JellyBean is a young adult female who was trapped at a local TNR site with horrific injuries to both ears. She is all healed now, but one ear is gone, and the other is just a remnant flap. She hears just fine and we think her unique look is adorable. As you can see, she gets along well with other well behaved animals.

JellyBean is a typical cat and takes a couple of days to warm up to a new environment, but once she does she loves everyone. She is an absolute lovebug, so if you don’t like a velcro cat she’s not your girl. She will be under your feet and begging for attention, so she’s probably not ideal for elderly folks or very young children. JellyBean is also FIV positive, but don’t let that stop you from considering her. FIV+ cats can live with other non-FIV cats and are often overlooked despite having so much to offer.

JellyBean comes with her sister Truffle, who is also FIV+. They are bonded and must stay together. Foster mom will sponsor one of the adoption fees, and can be reached at KarenS@awlfc.org
