Meet Jefferson
Our precious three-legged senior Jefferson is gazing out the window and hoping with all his heart that today will be the incredible day he finally gets adopted.
Jefferson’s life prior to coming to the shelter has been anything but easy. He has spent the past 10 years fending for himself outside, with the idea of having a home being a distant dream. He was rescued from the bitter January cold this year, and upon arrival, we discovered his leg was injured so badly that it required amputation.
Jefferson has spent the past six months healing and waiting patiently for a family here at the SPCA. While he’s doing better than ever physically, he is looking for a kind person to finally show him what it means to be loved forever. If you are that special someone Jefferson has been longing for his entire life, please email the shelter to apply for him, or stop by to meet him in person!
Jefferson is a senior kitty. He loves people and cats! He’s currently wearing a cone to keep him from licking a dry spot on his skin until it heals. Jefferson would be best suited for a calm, peaceful home where he can fully enjoy his golden years with a wonderful human by his side!
