Jane Domestic Long Hair Columbus, OH

Jane is a beautiful long hair girl. We believe her mom was one of the stray white calicos. Jane is about 5 months old. She is shy but she sure does love to be pet and loves to play with toys. She is with our general population at the office and doing great.

Jane came from a residential area that was overrun with stray adult cats and kittens. They were being fed by a resident and the his neighbors were so upset with the volume of strays that they began poisoning them. We found a few deceased, few gasping their last breaths, and many disappeared (we are guessing they went off to die). The rest of the kittens have been rescued and are in foster care, the adult cats remaining have been trapped, spayed/neutered, and released back. The kittens in our care are healthy, vaccinated and spayed/neutered.

Jane has really come a long way and is improving every day. She will need a very patient owner and another cat in the household.
