Meet James Toffee (FeLV+)

Meet handsome James Toffee! He’s a bit shy when he first meets you, but quickly warms up to show his super sweetness. James is about 9 months old, and loves to play and run around with his foster brothers Wonka Bar and Taffy. James is FeLV+, and will need to go to a home with a resident cat who is also FeLV+ because he enjoys having a playmate; or you could adopt the incredible trio of Wonka Bar, Taffy, and James!

Special note: James Toffee has tested positive for the Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). This means he needs a special home environment to keep him healthy and happy.

Here’s what you need to know about FeLV:

It’s a virus that weakens a cat’s immune system, making them more susceptible to other illnesses. It is NOT contagious to humans or other animals besides cats.
FeLV+ cats can live long and happy lives with proper care, including regular veterinary checkups, a nutritious diet, and a stress-free environment.
