Meet Jack Sparrow
The Pirate Kitty!

Ahoy Matey! My name is Jack Sparrow, or Cap'n Jack for short. I was living at a farm in a barn when the farmer found me and noticed I had a severe eye injury in one eye. It turns out there was a botfly larvae in my eye which had to be removed. Luckily, it healed perfectly fine but if you haven't already guessed, that's how I got my name ;)
After that ordeal, I was a bit shy in my foster home, but I'm also a typical curious kitten so even though it took me a little while to be brave enough to venture out of the foster room, I'm now exploring the entire house and lovin' it! I have learned all about the amazing things indoor life has to offer, like TOYS! My favourite toys are the feather wand and those little crinkle balls that I can chase after.
I'm also soaking up all the affection from my foster humans! Have you ever had your cheeks scratched before? It's so relaxing and sets my motor off into a loud purr! I have also found my voice but my meow sounds a bit hoarse. I don't think this is a bad thing because my foster mom tells me that it's very endearing. I'm just so easy to love!
In my foster home, I have made great friends with my two feline roomies, Luther and Duncan. There is also a big dog who lives here but I'm still not sure about him. Every day, as my confidence grows, I'm getting more and more comfortable around him.
In my new home, I would absolutely love to live with an older cat who wants to be my friend and protector. If you have a dog who is cat savvy, I'm sure I could get used to him or her, as long as they don't chase me. I would likely do best with older children above the age of six who will allow me the space I need to get comfortable and who will respect my boundaries.
I can't wait to find my forever pirate ship to live out the rest of my days!
