Meet JACK FROST **Adoption Pending**
AGE: 1 - 2 years
DESCRIPTION: DSH White
LOCATION: PETS Shelter (114 W Main Street) - Panora, IA
MY STORY:
Jack Frost, along with 7 of his relatives, was left behind at a rural property when the owners moved. When the new owners arrived, they discovered 8 sad sickly kitties.
Jack’s life has not been easy. Frostbite left its wicked mark on his poor little ears. They are now curled and crinkled and missing fur…but not painful anymore. He has also healed from the neglect and abandonment. He arrived hissy and angry. He glared from his cage, unsure if he could or should trust but he finally realized he was safe. He is now sweet and loving, quite honestly a pest with his demands for brushing and petting and nonstop attention. It’s very cute - he will reach out his paw to let you know to stop petting that kitty and pet me instead!
Jack Frost is great with other kitties. He likes toys and loves to climb the tall cat tree. If you are in the room, he is your shadow. His head will always find your hand and we're guessing he will eventually be quite the lap cat and snuggler in bed. He still has a few wounds and scabs healing but he is healthy and happy and ready for his fur ever family. He will make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a sweet and soft snowball of a kitty.
MORE DETAILS:
Inside-only home and must keep claws. The adoption fee for this kitty is $25. Adopt a pair of kitties for $50. Each cat and kitten has been: altered (spayed/neutered), vaccinated (age-appropriate) - rabies and distemper combo, microchipped, tested for FeLV (negative unless previously noted), and treated for fleas, ear mites, and worms.
We ask that interested parties fill out a cat adoption questionnaire only if you are seriously considering adopting this sweet kitty. You can get the application by going to our website at "http://www.panorapets.com/adopt"
and clicking on the "Cat Adoption Questionnaire" button at the top of the page. Once you have submitted the questionnaire, an adoption coordinator will contact you usually within 24 hours. Please be patient and thank you for your interest in this kitty.
P.E.T.S. supports the "Paws Need Claws" Campaign. Cats are rather attached to their claws; please do not de-claw your cats.
