Ivy Domestic Short Hair Nashville, TN

This gorgeous dilute gray kitten with her white accents is Ivy. Born 3/13/24, she came to us with her mom, Arabella and 4 siblings; Dodge, Freckles, Fidget and Harley, from MACC where mom was surrendered by her owner along with her 3 week old babies. Having an available foster we were able to get them out of the shelter as it’s no place for kittens with undeveloped immune systems.

Ivy was named for puppies from the movie 101 Dalmatians….lol, as we have ran through all the kitty names from Disney! Ivy is extremely social; she is very friendly and overly affectionate. She loves to cuddle and wants to be picked up and held.
At night, she wants to crawl under the covers to sleep. Ivy has have been around other cats and have just recently started to be introduced to dogs. You would need to supervise any meeting with a dog or dogs so that all of them could get used to each other.

Ivy would be okay in a home with children over the age of 8 years old. OF COURSE ADULT SUPERVISION IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGE WITH ANY YOUNG CHILDREN AROUND SMALL ANIMALS.

Ivy spent several weeks at our vets a few months ago. She had a prolapsed rectum and our wonderful vet was able to surgically repair the issue with no problems. She has had no other problems since returning to her foster and is a healthy, happy kitten.

Ivy has been spayed, FIV/feLV tested negative, received her Rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, been dewormed, parasite treated and on flea/tick preventative and microchipped.

Ivy is very social and would not do well in a home without another pet, or in a home where everyone is gone for 6-14 hrs a day. She would not do well being alone the majority of the day. Please don't apply if this is you.
