Meet Iggy

Iggy is a very special old lady. She is blind, and has a medical condition called cerebellar hypoplasia that affects her balance and makes her a little wobbly. Despite both of these things, she can navigate her surroundings very well. She knows her way around, and uses her hearing to compensate for her lack of sight. She is beloved at the shelter by both volunteers and staff because she is an absolute lovebug and will cuddle with you for hours! She loves her food, and loves fluffy toys that she can snuggle with while she sleeps. Although she has no problems using the litter box, she sometimes needs some help keeping her fur clean, so we make sure to give her spa days whenever she needs a refresh! She is very easy going, gentle, and sweet.

Iggy will need to go home to someone who has experience with special needs cats. Because of her disabilities, she would do best in a home where she'll have human company for most of the day. She enjoys hanging out with both cats and dogs, but would prefer a quiet home or a home with other senior animals.
