Meet HUNTER (BOBTAIL)
My humans call me Hunter, but I think Gorgeous Prince would be a fitting name. I weigh 14 pounds and have the cutest bobtail. My favorite pastimes are lazing around looking handsome on a plush blanket or soft couch, looking out the window, watching over the room from the top of one of my cat towers, getting petted/brushed, and playing. I like any kind of chasing/hunting game with balls, crinkly paper or pole toys, or the mouse game on dad’s iPad, and I am happiest when somebody plays with me and pets me at least a few minutes every day. I am especially happy to be petted while I am eating. My mom says she might be able to send my favorite treats and toys and such with me to my new home. I am shy and usually hide when I meet new people, but once I trust you I am very friendly. I don’t really like sitting in laps, and I prefer to come to you when I want attention. I will greet you in doorways, I will crack you up by meowing when you are late serving my food, and I might swing a friendly swat at you or randomly start pawing a nearby wall if I want attention and you are ignoring me. If you are respectful I will tolerate being picked up. With all the towers and cat scratcher pads I have, I haven’t scratched up any furniture since I was a baby. I would do best with someone who has experience with cats. I can be okay around dogs, but I have never been around other cats or small children. If I have to share a home with other cats, they should probably be younger so I can be the alpha. I have been indoors-only since I was separated from my feral mommy at about 5 weeks old. My human dad has been sick and is getting worse so my folks are making the tough call to find me a better home. I’m up to date on my shots and I’m good about getting into my carrier for trips (although I sometimes wail pitifully during car rides). Could you be a good fit for me?
