Greetings, friends. My name is Hitch. My owner recently passed away and I am searching for a new family to love me like I was loved before. I'm a pretty big boy -- nearly 15 pounds! I'm about six years old and am neutered.

In my previous home, I lived with other friendly felines and even kitty-friendly dogs! We all got along wonderfully. If you introduce me properly in your home, maybe I can be friends with your resident furbabies and become part of the pack? I also would be okay if I was the center of your attention as the only animal in the home, too.

It took me time to acclimate to the shelter. I am asking that you be patient while I learn that I am safe in your home. I have never been around small kiddos and would probably do best if any children in the home were a bit older. I absolutely love your love and chin scratches but will let you know when I am ready to be left on my own.
