Meet Henry

Oh, Henry! This dude is ready for anything. Whether you're chilling on the couch, playing with a new toy, hunting a fly, snuggling in bed, he's a happy camper. Henry loves to give light love bites but occasionally loses himself in the passionate moment, he makes up for this by knowing the command "No biting!" so well, that when you say it, he immediately apologizes with the most adorable gentle kisses. Henry can be best described as a cat without bones. He is somehow mostly liquid. Henry is a small boy and will be kitten sized forever, due to being the runt of his litter. This poor guy has been looking for his furrever home for over a year... Give him a shot! He'll win you over during your first meeting!

Henry was previously diagnosed/treated for Ocular FIP. He received the protocol treatment through FIP Warriors 5.0 and has finished observation. He has been 100% healthy since treatment. We believe he will go on to live a long and healthy life moving forward and his FIP diagnosis is a distant memory.

Cats adopted in pairs will have a reduced adoption fee!

Who are we?

Chesapeake Rescue Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization. Our cats are vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered, and tested for FeLV, FIV, and Heartworm disease before being placed in carefully selected homes.

We are foster–based, meaning we do not have a facility. All of our cats are in foster homes in the Southern Maryland area. Our goal is to protect animals in the Chesapeake Bay area and beyond. We connect animals in need to safe homes and facilitate their access to quality veterinary care. Our rescue also provides trap-neuter-return, education, and outreach services to support the well-being of animals within the community at-large. This organization emphasizes transparency and integrity while providing educational resources to support the humane treatment of animals.
