Meet HELEN (Survivor)
HELEN had a severe abdominal hernia in two locations along her torso. More concerning though, was the defect to her eyelids that caused her lashes to roll in, scratching her eyes each time she blinked.
Imagine the pain and fear she experienced each day.
Thanks to Pound Pals Downriver, Helen received the surgical intervention she needed to lead a normal life.
Now all she needs is someone to choose her. Helen is a reserved cat looking for a mature home where she can spend her days sunning herself in the window and never worrying about where her next meal will come from or if she'd be safe.

All cats are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV negative unless otherwise indicated.
All are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations.
All of our resident cats use their litter boxes unless otherwise indicated. Cats are naturally inclined to use a litter box.
Cat Fact: If a domestic cat is not using a litter box THEY ARE TRYING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING IS WRONG! It should never be ignored! Your cat is depending on you for help.
Our adoption fee for felines is $65. That covers the cost of spay/neuter, FeLV/FIV test and vaccinations (if applicable).
We look forward to meeting you!
