Meet Hector

Back in May and June 2022, I was roaming around & kept showing up around a managed cat colony where I discovered there was often food. Since I wasn't neutered though, I was wreaking havoc starting fights with other males & would not back down. (The other cats did not know it, but since I am kind of small & had gotten beat up myself more than once before, I decided that from then on I would have to turn into a tiny terror as soon as I saw another cat, charging them, and chasing them to continue fighting if they tried to get away. So, the truth is I was over compensating.) One night the food was inside this wire tunnel thing. I tested it out, and it seemed okay, so I kept going in a little further to get to the yummy food, but then, ... I got trapped.

This Ms Tana lady took me to a place to have me checked out. I did not have a microchip or any i.d., so now I am neutered, fvrcp & rabies vaccinated, & had revolution applied. Since I have been in the Feline Felicity place, I have seen other kitties and tolerated them, but have not had a lot of free access & intermingling with them.

Update: Ms Tana named me Hector because I was initially such a trouble-maker when I was free-roaming and before I was neutered. She took me to a vet clinic to have me combo tested on 8/20/22, and found out I am FIV positive -- not surprising since I was such an active fighter prior to neuter. I will definitely need a strictly indoor only home. FIV positives can be only cats, can live with other FIV positive cats, or can live with negative cats/any cats as long as they do not aggressively fight. FIV positive cats can & most often do live normal healthy & long lives as long as indoor only, prompt vet check & treatment if ever not acting normal self, & kept up with annual regular health maintenance vetting. I also have one of those microchips now.

I am really affectionate with the adults I have met since being trapped. I am much happier now. I am also getting along fine with 7 other cats with whom I share a large home addition sunroom and bathroom. I was meant to be a lover, not a fighter. Could I be the kitty you have been searching for to share the rest of our lives together?

(If you have other kitties, PLEASE REFER TO JACKSON GALAXY'S VIDEOS ABOUT THE BEST STEPS - a very specific & gradual process - TO TAKE FOR SUCCESSFUL INTRODUCTIONS, which will help lead to more harmonious lifelong cohabitating.)
