Without the immediate funds for her care, these kind strangers turned to their local Facebook community, where people rallied together to cover her emergency medical needs. Initially, her survival was uncertain; her injuries were extensive, and there were concerns about her long-term health. But Halo, true to her name, fought through the pain with an inner light and a resilient spirit. Against the odds, she pulled through, showing everyone that her story was far from over. Remarkably, her veterinarian found her injuries inconsistent with a car accident—suggesting that she may have been a victim of abuse.
