Meet Habanero
Meet Habanero – The Snuggly Shoulder Cat with a Wild Side!
Habanero has spent most of his life in rescue, but he’s so ready for his next adventure—preferably perched on your shoulders! This 1.5-2-year-old black-and-white sweetheart was trapped as an older kitten with his two sisters, Carolina and Bell. Though he started off shy, he has come so far, and now he’s the most outgoing of the trio!
What does Habanero love most? Wand toys! He goes absolutely wild for them—jumping, leaping, and even climbing into laps to capture that feathery fun. Once he’s tired himself out from all the excitement, he’s ready to snuggle up, preferably on your lap, in your arms, or right on your shoulders like a parrot. Open his cage, and he’ll launch himself up like a pro!
To help him adjust, he’ll need to start in a small space (a crate in a quiet room works best). He must have another feline friend in his home—whether it’s one of his sisters or another friendly cat to help him feel secure. Give him a little patience, and in no time, he’ll be your personal neck warmer, cuddle buddy, and wand-chasing champion!
