Meet Gypsy

Gypsy was surrendered to us in the beginning of 2024. Her owners were moving and didn’t bring her along, but took the other cat in the home with for the travel. They had Gypsy for nine years and bottle-fed her as a small kitten. That was the only owner she had ever known. It took her a long time to get used to her new way of life with us, but she has settled in as the weeks have gone by. We know she is still upset and hurting by the departure.

She’s a beautiful white cat with brown tabby markings. She can be sassy, but rightly so. She’d do best in a home with no young children. There was another cat in her old home, and they tolerated each other. But Gypsy’s been in our Middle Cattery for many months, with at least two other cats at a time, and they are all coexisting very nicely! She keeps her space and is independent, but doesn’t seem to mind them.

Gypsy is now 10 years old. Double digits! Her ideal home would be someone who will let her warm up on her terms. She's not a pick-me-up kind of cat. She may come and sit by you, and she may or may not allow petting, depending on her mood. But we love her as she is!

Stop in to fill out an adoption application and spend as much time as you like with our cats. We do not adopt first come; we always adopt to the best home for our animals. If you rent, bring proof (lease/contract) that you can have a cat. Also bring your Vet's information to so we can conduct a vet check (and please let your Vet know we will be making a call).

Our adoption fee is $50 for cats. Our animals are fully vetted before being placed for adoption, and spayed/neutered if they are old enough. If they are too young for spay or neuter, we require a $50 deposit that will be refunded upon proof that the pet has been altered.
