"Gretchen's mother was killed by coyotes when she was 8 weeks old; I lived out in the country. She is a high energy kitty who loves to be petted but doesn't like to be held as much. She will let me pick her up and hold her for a short while but then wants to go. She will jump up in my lap long enough to say hi and be petted before jumping back down."
