Meet Grace
Grace's (ID#23076) story is like so many kittens born into unhealthy colonies of cats. When she was found, she had a very bad upper respiratory infection and both her eyes were sealed shut. Unfortunately, she lost vision in her one eye because of it. She and her siblings then came down with the calici virus and sadly, one of them did not make it. That left her and her brother, Will. Their bond is very strong, and the two of them are searching for a home where they can be adopted together. Both of them are very good with other cats and kittens. No matter the size or age of new friends in their foster home, they greet them with a friendly welcome. They have lived with large senior dogs and were very friendly and affectionate to them as well. Grace loves to sit in the windows and watch the birds and squirrels, play with catnip toys, chase cat wands and springs, and spend time with her brother. Even with many other cats in the home, you will still always find them seeking each other out to play and snuggle with. She is also a very good snuggler. She loves nothing more than cuddling with her mom in the morning and purring as loud as she can. She would do best in an adult home or possibly one with older children as tiny running feet startle her. Grace is very food motivated and her favorite snacks are, well, pretty much anything. This little girl and her brother are so deserving of the best forever they can possibly have. They are both lucky to have survived and are ready to show someone how much love they have to give.
All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are:
Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125
Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100
Seniors (8+ years) = $80
Please also read our Core Values prior to applying at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations.
If you are interested in adopting a kitty(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet kitties you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.
