Hi, I'm Gloria, a shy sweetie looking for a special person to love. I had a loving home for 4 years but I was surrendered to HAWS because my person could no longer care for me. I really wish I could be back in a home sooner rather than later! The cat cuddler volunteers here at HAWS are being very patient with me and trying to encourage me to come out of my cubby for full-body pets but for now I will gladly accept their petting my head and back as I sit inside. So when you come to meet me, there will be cats in the adoption room who will grab your attention by talking to you, greeting you at their front door and some will even reach their paws out to wave ... not me ... but that doesn't mean I'm not loving and friendly because I am! I am trying to adjust to the shelter environment but it's hard after being in a home where I was my person's center of attention.
