Gingersnap came to us with her 4 siblings from the Willcox Shelter. She quickly made friends with the other kittens in her foster home. As you can see in her intake picture, she was sick with a kitty cold--so medicating made her not out biggest fan!

Gingersnap has been quite non-people oriented thus far. But, recently she's starting to come out of her adorable shell.

We had her in a "busy" foster home with 4 active kiddos, and she didn't do great there. We then moved her to a kid-free home with large and small dogs and other kitties, and she's really come out of his shell!

We have learned that the way to her heart, is though her stomach! When its dinner time, she purrs, follows you around talking to you, and will swirl around your ankles. You can pet her about 50% of the time--but she's making huge progress for sure! She's started jumping up on the bed and sleeping with the other kitties at bedtime.

From being a sick baby, one of her eyes has corneal scarring. The vet said it is not painful, and will not be an issue long-term--it just blocks her vision behind the scar.

Gingersnap would love a quieter home that will let her adjust while she gets to know her people.!

*Gingersnap is available for our foster-to-adopt program: You would foster him for a month or so while he gets comfortable before making the adoption official..

** Gingersnap MUST go to a home with another young kitty to be his friend, or adopt him with another one of our kittens! (she's buddies with Snickerdoodle & Whiskey!)

Gingersnap is spayed, has had all his kitten booster vaccines, rabies vaccine, tested negative for Feline Leukemia & FIV and is microchipped (with free life-time registration!)
