GINGERBREAD is a super cute, friendly and funny young boy (aprox. 1 year old) who loves to be around people. This extroverted kitty was found in the Bronx poking his head through a fence begging for food and was so easy to handle, the rescuer just scooped him up in a cardboard box she found on the corner, with no problem!

GINGERBREAD has a permanent head tilt, probably caused by a bad ear infection while he was homeless on the streets. Luckily, the head tilt just adds to his charm and quirky personality.

GINGERBREAD will do best in a home with other playful kitties. He loves to chase and play tag with his foster buddies. He also loves to be held or just sit in your lap, but ironically he isn't a biggest fan of head scratches.

All Bronx Tails cats are spayed/neutered (when age appropriate), vaccinated, tested for Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia (negative for both unless noted) and are litterbox reliable and loving toward people.

We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit via video tour (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters an up-to-2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat(s) is a good match for them. If not, we will retrieve the cat(s) and return the adoption fee in full. We will also help with tips and methods for introducing the cat(s) to other pets, if needed.
