Meet Gertrude

Gertrude was trapped along with some others cats at her overpopulated colony in New Orleans. She was too young to be spayed, and too sick to be put back with her mom. So we took her in, got her all fixed up, and now she needs a forever home!

Gertrude is a single kitten with a lot of energy. She loves to play and will wear you out! Once she finally settles down though, she loves to curl up and purr and have attention lavished on her.

Gertrude has been around the other cats in her colony, but has been by herself since being rescued. She would really benefit from another young cat in the household to role model, and one that can match her energy. She has not been around dogs or kids, but would probably do well once introduced considering she is so young.

Gertrude will be spayed and triple tested prior to adoption, most likely in the next week. She is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas.
