Meet Georgie - Big Head Garfield

Biig headed Georgie came to us last year after a local Myrtle Beach good Samaritan rescued and brought him to the ER after being found injured and in dismal condition, presumably after an incident with another animals living on the streets, struggling to survive and find food.
His life saving angel Regina, shared videos of him, walking on a leash like a puppy dog, to offer him outdoor access prior to joining us here, where we have a catio.
He has since been neutered, has had his dental cleaning done, and although he's fiv+, that's really not an issue given our care protocols we extend all our residents to keep them in tip top health. He hasn't really bonded with any of the other cats here and is indifferent to them, but he does have a tendecy to bully the senior gals who balked at having their nails trimmed; evidently misinterpreting their discomfort and squeeling for street agression from his old life.
He's starved for human companionship and attention and LOVES food, especially eggs for breakfast. So if this hunk of love might be of interest, please don't hesitate to reach out.

We are a "Protect the Pets" rescue with established nutritional protocols for our obligate carnivorous cats. We mandate responsible vaccination protocols and titer testing with Kansas State Veterinary Lab, in order to provide continuous protection and compliancy with the Rabies Control Act of South Carolina Rabies Statute Section 47-5-60. Please ensure your vet recognizes titers and is willing to offer affordable titer testing versus blindly overdosing pets with unnecessary vaccinations which contribute to the 50% national cancer rates being newly diagnosed annually in 10 million companion animals. The health of our pets is our main priority, and we require our nutritional and vaccination protocols be maintained. We will not allow our pets to be subjected to even a second unnecessary vaccination overdose, when checking titers can easily be incorporated into annual wellness exams for our animals.

The entire veterinary file always accompanies each of our cats upon adoption and we provide full transparency with the care we have provided.

Please contact Christine@Headbutthotel.org for our adoption paperwork.
