Meet Garfield
Hard to resist me, huh?!?! I get that allot- I mean just look at me… that gorgeous coat off mine- I do kinda resemble that famous cat with the same name as me…and how about that pink nose!! Irresistible, right? Plus I’m really sweet and affectionate and friendly! I just want a forever home of my own!! I may just want to be your only pet also- as I like all the attention to myself!!
Garfield just came to us from another shelter, that we helped. They tell us., Garfield is a handsome devil, named after his cartoon namesake because of his cheeks. He is super social, playful and busy. He would do best in an adult home or one with older children. While this 2 yr old guy is interactive and fun he is a bit of a menace because he has a really bad habit...it seems he has some desire to play the roll of the cat in national Lampoon's Christmas Vacation...by chewing wires. We have had a conversation with him about what the outcome will be if he continues to do this but somehow I doubt he will listen. It is possible that he is just bored here and may not do it in a home but we don't know, so anyone adopting this dapper guy will need to be prepared to cover their electrical wires with some tubing meant for that purpose.
He’s only been here a short time, but he’s such a love and great cat and he’s all up to date and ready for his forever home!! Won’t you be his hero and come meet this sweet boy!!
