Meet Gambit, a tiny tuxedo who is approximately 1 year old.

Don’t let his small stature fool you - he may be 9.9 pounds soaking wet, but his irresistibly big personality will capture your heart in no time! This adorable black and white shorthair is curious, playful, energetic, and affectionate. He’s full of energy and loves playing with toys of all kinds, from showing off his soccer skills with a jingly ball to leaping athletically after a wand toy. Gambit wants plenty of interaction and attention, and pets and chin scratches are rewarded amply with nonstop purrs. In his free time, he enjoys staring out a good window at the local bird show.

Although he is friendly and has adapted quickly, he’s still new to indoor life, and he’s slowly learning to tolerate being picked up; he will let you know when he’s had enough with a tiny growl. He does not enjoy getting his nails cut, and although he may grow more mellow over time, he will probably never enjoy it.

Gambit is food-motivated and a good eater. He can be a heathen in the bathroom, so a high-walled litter box is recommended. He will claim the good pillow on the bed and may attempt a cuddly smothering overnight, so beware!

What Gambit’s looking for in a home:

- He’s new to indoor life with humans, so he’ll need a little time to adjust to a new home.
- He has lots of energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.He needs to live indoors only.
- He has no known history with other cats; given his energy levels, he may benefit from a friend, but he has not had the opportunity to be introduced to other cats.
- He has no known history with dogs.
- He has no known history with children.

All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
