Introducing Galliano he is a handsome orange and white 2 year old Persian cat available for adoption! Galliano is just another sweet fur-baby who is part of our international cat rescue mission! Galliano is healthy and ready for adoption here in the USA (NYC area)!

Galliano has a common history to our other rescues from Cairo, Egypt. When his owners moved from their apartment, they closed the door and left Galliano outside, never to return again. Galliano waited outside the door on the welcome mat for hours until finally our rescue partners were contacted and rescued him.
Galliano is a sweet, friendly, talkative guy who loves other cats, dogs, and young children but ONLY if the children are respectful towards the pets in the home!

He has been fully vetted and is vaccinated (rabies and distemper), blood tested negative for feline viral infections; FIV/FLeV, microchipped and treated for fleas/ticks/dewormed.

We read every application that is submitted and it can take us 2-4 days to respond to most applicants. If we believe you may be a potential match for the cat(s) we will respond to you via email. This email will detail all the next steps required in order for you to be officially approved as an adopter. Our email can easily be flagged as spam/junk so please check those folders for our response.

We will ask all potential adopters who pass the first step to submit/complete the following;
-2+ personal references
-1+ veterinary reference
-home interior photos/videos
-your pet policy from the apartment management or landlord
-1+ alternative caretaker(s) identified for the cat
-schedule a phone interview with a member of our team

*General inquiries about any cat cannot be responded to without an application submitted first. If the cat is on petfinder.com the cat is still available.

Adoption fee is non-negotiable.

What your (tax deductible) adoption fee/donation covers:
Spay/Neuter surgery
Full vaccinations (2 x distemper/FVRCP and feline rabies)
Blood Tests - FIV, FLeV, Heartworm, in some cases additional blood work
Anti-Parasitics - all cats are dewormed, treated for fleas/ticks, ear mites.
Microchipped - All cats have a registered microchip
Travel Passes/Fees- the adoption fee also pays for the cat's travel
*Please keep in mind that a majority of the cats for adoption from the Middle East were found in terrible health condition, some requiring extensive veterinary care and/or surgery. We do not increase the adoption fee despite the additional funds used to rehabilitate these cats.
