Meet Fritter
Fritter is a sweet, gentle soul who’s all about love and affection. Estimated to be around 4-5 years old, this squishy boy has a calm, non-dominant personality that makes him an easygoing companion.
Though he may be a little shy at first, Fritter warms up quickly as he gets to know you and settles into your home’s routines. He can startle at sudden movements or loud noises but bounces back quickly, always curious to see what’s happening. A quieter home without small children or dogs would suit him best.
Fritter has done wonderfully with other foster cats in his current home and would likely thrive with a feline friend after a proper introduction. He’s a respectful, polite kitty who would possibly make a great companion to another cat, again, after time for a proper introduction.
Fritter’s past life on the streets left him with a unique little quirk—a small kink at the end of his tail. After some over-grooming of this old wound, our vet had to remove the very tip of his tail. Occasionally, he still grooms it when bored, but it hasn’t caused any issues since then.
This lovable guy enjoys playtime, especially with cat dancers and other toys. When he’s ready for affection, he’ll flop over and ask for belly rubs—his favorite! As a former street kitty, Fritter is very food-motivated and will happily enjoy any treats or meals you offer.
Fritter is ready to leave his rough beginnings behind and settle into a forever home filled with love and care. Could that home be yours?
Adoption fee is $230 + tax (no checks).
Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.
Sometimes there is more that comes out about an animals personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable.
There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
