It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.


The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.


FRED WEASLEY and his 3 siblings (GEORGE WEASLEY - LUNA LOVEGOOD - BELLA LESTRANGE) were part of a huge TNR effort in Los Angeles County. The group TNRed all the adult cats and rescued moms and kittens. We were asked to find them good homes. So they went with one of our fosters. FRED WEASLEY is named them after the movies series HARRY POTTER.


Meet FRED WEASLEY, a sweet and shy feline with a heart as soft and fluffy as his fur. This playful boy has a penchant for canned food and treats that would make any gourmet jealous! FRED WEASLEY's gentle nature makes him the purr-fect companion for any cat lover, and his playful antics are sure to bring endless joy to your home. Whether he's chasing toy mice or curling up for a cozy nap, FRED WEASLEY's charm knows no bounds. Are you ready to welcome this lovable kitty into your family and share in his playful adventures?


FRED WEASLEY is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TABBY MIX. He is about 2 years old. He is good with cats and non-reactive to with dogs. He has never been around children. He will be good with another cat or by himself. He just wants love.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

MAY 2024: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.


Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability.

The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.


Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.


We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)
Drontal Dewormer
Stronghold Flea Control
Microchip


We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
