Meet Floyd, a sweet and laid-back 2-year-old kitty who's living his best life after a rough start. Weighing in at just over 10 lbs, Floyd spent his early days living outdoors and faced a traumatic leg injury right before a snowstorm hit. Thankfully, he was rescued just in time and brought inside, where he’s quickly realized what a comfy, cozy life looks like. Now, he loves nothing more than lounging in his soft, plush beds and stretching out to his heart’s content. Floyd is now a “tripod” and only has three legs! His injuries to his leg were too severe and causing him pain and discomfort so the vet recommended amputation. Without his bum leg, Floyd zips around freely now playing with his feline foster friends!

Floyd is all about the simple pleasures—treats, chin scratches, and quiet time in his safe spots (he’s particularly fond of a peaceful guest room). He’s a quick learner and has mastered a few tricks, like sitting and sitting pretty (front paws up!) for his favorite snacks. Floyd will greet you every morning with a soft meow and is a gentle conversationalist, waiting for some pets or treats to start the day.

Though he’s a bit cautious, Floyd’s trust is earned with time and patience. He absolutely enjoys chin and occasional booty scratches. Floyd would thrive in a quiet home without young children or dogs but could potentially live with another friendly cat.
