I am cute as a button, smart as a whip, and have to put up with this utter linguistic nonsense just like you, as the human with the thumbs currently typing my manifesto has a degree in English and doesn't use it much.

Anyway, back to me. First of all, look at me. I am just a little wisp of a kitty. Almost all gleaming white except a smudge of calico on my ear and my tail. I am nothing if not unique. I am playful and love to snuggle with my soulmate Jamsey - are wary of our homosapien counterparts.

We were looked over when we were little; denied the socialization cats need in their formative weeks to develop outgoing social skills. That doesn't mean I won't get there; I am still on my journey. It just might take us a little longer to find the perfect home with the perfect people. Then, with me, we could be the PERFECT family. I'm aghast with excitement, I assure you.

All cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, up to date on rabies and distemper and have had de-wormer medication as a preventive measure. All have tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. Some kitties may even have a microchip.

*Contact your veterinarian's office and NON-RELATED personal references to expect a phone call from someone at OARS. This helps us process the application within 2 days.

We focus on providing personalized care for these cats in a loving, home-like environment. Cats live in community rooms and they are able to watch bird feeder activity and nap in a favorite sunny spot.

We partner with other rescues and shelters when bringing pets to our rescue. We do not accept cats from the public. This approach allows us to help organizations near capacity or those with a special kitty that may need more attention. We are completely donation supported. All donations go towards food, supplies, medications and veterinary treatments for the homeless animals in our care.
