Mommacat Cecilia hung around a tended neighbourhood colony for 4 years, adding to the numbers until she was trapped and the multiplication tendencies finally stopped. Her kittens were raised with lots of daily human interactions, and when they decided to explore the great indoors, they pretty much just walked into the house of their rescuer and stayed! Sweet!!

Figaro gets his fine looks from his unknown daddy, sporting a tabby coat with big, swirly marbled markings and white mitts. But he is best described by his natural friendliness and bouncing energy, always up for a good time and any and all mischief he can find! He is extremely curious and loves playing with all kinds of toys and with brothers Onyx and Robin. The three mouseketeers can dream up all sorts of adventure and games, amusing themselves and whoever is watching them. Nothing better than streaming live KittenTV right in front of you!

When he is done with playing, Figaro settles down to revel in loving pets. He also likes to play gently with your feet and ankles, tapering his leftover energy into engaging with his people. This curious, active and affectionate kitten will do best being adopted with Onyx, as the two are often together in play and cuddles. They can’t help but be fun, amusing little furballs, because that’s what they are!

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.

All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it’s twice the fun for you, and half the work!
