Fern is a precious little girl who loves to chase cat springs, lay in the sun and snuggle with her surrogate mom, Josephine. She can be anxious at times; therefore, will need patience, time and understanding from her human companion. Fern's ideal home is one that is calm and has a routine. She would do best in a home with another cat, possibly a kitten that she can play with or an adult cat with maternal instincts that she can snuggle with. If there are no cats in the home, consider adopting Fern with kitten companion Dixie or her surrogate mom who she loves dearly, Josephine! She is accustomed to being around dogs, however, dogs who are peaceful and serene are perfect. Fern is a Siamese with a lynx point pattern. As of February 2024, she is 5 months old.
Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
