Meet Fabio!! This boy is all personality. He's perfectly content left alone for long periods of time, but is absolutely the boy who wants to greet you when you get home from a long day! Fabio loves pets and treats, doesn't have much interest in toys, but enjoys "hunting" the birds and critters outside from the safety of couch or inside windowsill.

Fabio's perfect home is with someone who will be patient with him since he's still learning how to "be a cat" after being rescued from a hoarding situation. He's between 1-2 years old (young adult) and does well with female cats or with kittens but fancies himself ruler of the roost so he would not do well in a home with other adult male cats. His previous owners were in a bad situation and unfortunately they- along with 14 cats- lived in a trash filled, condemned hotel room. Despite this rough start on life, Fabio is still happy to be held, cuddled, and will only become more and more affectionate and comfortable in a loving home where he will finally be allowed to feel safe.

Fabio has never met a dog that we know of but based on his temperament think he could coexist with calm doggy friends but predict he wouldn't be a fan of rowdy or high energy pups. He's also never met kids that we know of, but think with calm, older children who have cat experience, he would do great.

Fabio is estimated to be 1-2 years old, is neutered is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health! He does a great job of keeping his litterbox tidy. All he needs now is his forever home!

Fabio is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along these routes.
