Evie-bonded with cousins Buttercup and Rosebud Tabby Vashon, WA

Found in wall insulation at a construction site, at rescue, Evie was about 10 weeks-right on the cusp of turning feral had she not had human and cat intervention. Intense socialization was in order so she could gain self-confidence. I carried her in a sling, hand fed her and exposed to life in a household.

Moreover, because cats learn acceptable cat behavior (such as biting limits) from other cats, I introduced Evie two kitty foster sisters: Buttercup and Rosebud. Initially, Evie was unsure-but now, months later, the three are inseparable.

Evie approaches me to say hello and for pets. I can hold her for short durations-and she is becoming more and more confident. She loves, loves, loves to be hand fed purée treats (https://fussiecat.com/puree-oceanfish/).

When roaming the house, Evie, like Buttercup, is where the action is and loves to interactive play with wand toys.

Like the sisters, Evie, startles at new or loud noises as well as people, including me, who approach too quickly. Despite their shyness, they display affection and curiosity towards their surroundings. With patience, love, and encouragement, the three will continue to blossom.

Their ideal situation is
-In a quiet, stable, routine home
-With no young children and
-With a patient, experienced cat person (s) who have both the time and interest to nurture a bond with these three precious souls.

Earning their trust and love is priceless.

Please note that once in their new home, these kitties will need to slowly transition from a small space and then progress to entire home.
