Hello, it's Esther and here is a little bit about me. FUN FACT NUMBER ONE: I have extra toes on all four of my feet! This makes me extra speedy as I zip around the house and my foster mom states that she gets in her cardio for the day just keeping up with me.?????????

I was rescued from a place that had too many kitties and very little contact with people, so I was initially VERY frightened of humans. Over time I have learned to be more trusting of people but am still on the skittish side. I quite enjoy sitting with you for pets and affection and may even climb up on your lap but do not like being picked up or restrained. I have never been around dogs or young children and feel that their energy would be a bit much for me. I would do best with respectful teens and/or adults in my forever home. I HAVE been around other kitties and here is the verdict: I am not a fan of "in your face" kind of kitties, I have been around other shy kitties like myself and with a SLOW introduction could live with one of them or be quite happy as an "only child".

I like to play with wand toys, the little ball that you roll around the ring and little fur mousies to swat. I have a sensitive stomach and am on a special prescription food but it's not a problem. With your vets prescription, you can order it on line and I eat it like a pro.

I am looking for forever people who will set me up for success, give me time to decompress and a "room of my own " as I transition to a forever home. If you think you are those people, please fill out an adoption application today!
