Meet Emma

Hello! I am a young female kitty from a hoarding case, when my kittens were weaned, they went to a rescue and I came to PAC! Some of my family members are still in the house but will be arriving at PAC shortly. My former owner said that I liked to lay in her lap so there is hope for me yet. I am shy in the shelter but I would do much better with a friend. It will take time for me to come out if my shell but I promise I will get there!

*Emma does not let us pet her in the shelter, that is because she is in a condo and every interaction requires consent which she does not give as it is an invasion of privacy. In a home, there is more space to move around and she will become a normal cat over time, this is the process every hoarded cat goes through and is the normal based on the trauma and lack of socialization the have endured. We have a high success rate with adopters who adopt these cats, all of them who go into a home turn into normal cats as they were not feral to begin with.
