Meet Elway – Your New Best Friend!
This handsome boy has been through a lot, but he hasn’t let it dim his loving spirit! Found as a stray by some caring people, Elway was brought to our rescue with an injured rear leg which, after a vet visit, we found it was a mild sprain. With plenty of TLC, he’s on the mend and ready to find his forever home. Being named after a famous Denver Broncos Quarterback, he has some big shoes to fill, and we are sure he will do just that!
Despite his past, Elway is as friendly as can be, although his confidence could use a little help. It seems maybe he wasn't treated very nicely in the past because he is scared of certain things, like a broom, for one example. He absolutely loves being pet and will happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. He even rolls over for belly rubs & adores sweet talk. His gentle, affectionate nature makes him the perfect companion for anyone looking for a sweet and loyal friend.
Elway has not been tested around other cats or dogs so we are unsure of how he will react but he has been around older childen in his foster home and does great! He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and combo tested negative. His approximate birthdate is 3/21/22, and is a big guy at 12.5#.
