MEET ELLIE!

14 year old Ellie joined City of Elderly Love after she was abandoned outside of her home by her life-long family due to having fleas. A local TNR organization offered to help her former family eradicate the fleas in their home so Ellie could stay in her home but they opted to have her sent to rescue instead. Ellie spent about 2 months on the city streets before being rescued by a TNR volunteer. Their loss! Ellie is a catch and can't wait to find her dream retirement home!

Ellie is just the sweetest little thing. All she cares about is snuggling and eating (loves her wet food and doesn't seem picky). She's small in stature and almost looks like she's still a kitten. She has her own space in her foster home and is being appropriately introduced to the pets in the house. She isn't too fond of the other cat but tolerates sharing space with the dog who is respectful of her space. We think she'd likely do well in a home with other low-key animals who won't push her buttons much. Ellie is currently in foster care with young kids and is sweet and patient with them! Ellie has had a full workup and has made a full recovery from her time on the streets. She's in great shape for a gal her age.
