Meet Durkle
Hurkle-Durkle is a 200-year-old Scottish term that means lounging in bed well past the time you were supposed to get up and these two have taken it to heart.
Hurkle and Durkle have been partners in crime since the day they were born. They were raised outdoors by an abandoned mama who knew the good life as a pet cat and found comfort on a kind person’s deck. The boys were quite shy at first. Hurkle was the first to come around to find out being petted did not seem so bad. Durkle took a little longer, observing his brother purr, play, and get pets. Then it happened... Durkle was enjoying the same things, even more so than Hurkle now.
The two play together, eat together, and sleep together. If you pet one brother, the other brother will push his way into your hands. Durkle will even use his paw to bring your hand closer to him. These boys need someone patient, someone to let them warm up slowly. Once they know they no longer need to be in survival mode, you will have two babies who will follow you around and demand all the attention.
The boys are now at The Bookman in Chilliwack for viewing.
