Hi, I'm Duchess! I'm a smart and resourceful kitty who's settling into the indoor life beautifully. I love having a cozy spot to call my own, tasty food to enjoy, and a warm bed to snuggle in. My favorite time of day is when my foster mom sits on the floor to pet me-I'll even rub against her leg to ask for more attention!

I'm a fan of scratching posts and always use my litterbox like the well-mannered lady I am. While I'm still learning to trust new people and can be a little shy at first, I'm sure to blossom with patience and a calm environment. I'm not a big fan of being picked up, but maybe that will change over time as I continue to build my confidence.

I'd love to have another cat friend in my forever home-they help me feel more secure and show me the ropes. I haven't met kids yet, so I'd probably do best in a quieter home where I can adjust at my own pace.
