Meet Dottie - Stubby Tail
Dottie. Date of Birth: April 5, 2020.
I was found in the middle of a parking lot. My rescuer had just finished shopping at a nearby Target and was about to get into his car when I called out to him. It's likely I had been dumped there to die (people can be cruel), but I was undeterred. I knew I needed to attract some kind person's attention to be rescued, so I cried my lungs out. I would not be ignored. My rescuer was about 30 yards away, but I caught his attention immediately. What can I say? I can be loud if necessary. My rescuer (now foster) walked over to me carefully, thinking I might shy away. But instead I ran right toward him! And that, according to my foster, is my personality in a nutshell. I don't give up. I'm energetic, playful, and demand the attention I deserve. I love to play with the feather toy and will let you know I'm enjoying my time because you can hear me purring about a mile away. I also like to fetch; just throw a little ball for me to grab and I will bring it back to you to do it all over again. I have a cute dot on my chest (thus my name) and a short tail that complements my good looks. Everything I do practically shouts out how adorable I can be. And if you can hear me calling, then I might be just the girl for you.
