Meet Dolphin est dob 05/07/24.
He is a sweet little male tabby, who had a rough start but has come a long way in care.
Dolphin came to us wary of people and kept his distance until he started feeling more confident and felt safe. It has been so rewarding to see him get more comfortable with us. He now prefers to hang out where his people are, and will come running up to see us when he hears people coming in or moving around.
He is becoming more and more social each day, and now comes over to get some scratches and cuddles when he sees us. He’s decided he quite enjoys a good ear scratch and belly rub, and it’s extra special to hear him purr when we when pet him, as it’s taken him a bit to feel safe enough to trust us.
Dolphin is bonded with his brother Beluga, and looks for him when they are apart. Beluga’s comfort with people has helped Dolphin become more social, and the two of them love to explore together and snuggle in together to sleep. They love to play together, and will wrestle and chase each other, or a toy.
Dolphin would do well in a home with his brother where he can continue to feel safe, and who can continue to build trust with him so he can become even more comfortable with his family.
